Camp Logistics

AmWeek 2024 will be held at the Quaker Center in Ben Lomond, 1000 Hubbard Gulch Road, Ben Lomond, CA

  • Camp registration (including youth and day campers) is for full-time, all week; however, there are a limited number of part time options.
  • Camp opens Sunday 3 pm for check-in, the last dance at camp is Friday morning, and there is a Friday night dance in Palo Alto.
  • Participants ages 13–17 are welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • All campers contribute by performing a light daily chore.
  • Smoking, incense, or candles inside any building are prohibited.  Overnight pets are not permitted, excepting trained service animals.
  • Bring your own bedding.  Housing options include:
    • 3–4 person rooms
    • Bunkrooms sleeping up to 4 in bunk beds
    • Dormitory with beds
    • Dormitory with cots, and
    • Limited tent and vehicle camping.
  • The camp menu accommodates omnivores and vegetarian/vegan diets. If you have other dietary restrictions, please consider bringing your own food; however, refrigerator/freezer space is not available. There is no discount for bringing your own food.
  • Alcohol is permitted, but the Quaker Center requests that it be consumed responsibly.
  • To provide a healthy and safe environment for our dance community:
    • We will follow recommendations from the County of Santa Cruz Health Services Agency.
    • Provide proof of a negative antigen test on the same day as your first arrival at the Quaker Center.
    • Consider wearing a mask while dancing — this is encouraged, but optional.
    • Do not come to camp if you are not feeling well.

March 20: Registration opens
Early April: Notification of acceptance
Mid-May: Detailed info sent to registered campers
June 24: Registration closes; no refunds upon cancellation
